Introduction
K-IMU-004 Inertial Measurement Unit is a “solid-state” six degree of freedom inertial sensing system based on MEMS technology. With high accuracy, it can measure angular rate and linear acceleration in three axes of an inertial coordinates system. Temperature sensors with high precision are built in; so the voltage corresponding with temperature changing can be indicated. Besides, self-test function is available for each of the six degree of freedom. Moreover, high reliability and good sealing capability can be assured due to good package technology.

Notes:
① Selectable range of angular rate is: ±75°/s, ±100°/s, ±150°/s, ±200°/s, ±250°/s, ±300°/s,
±350°/s, ±400°/s, ±450°/s, ±500°/s, ±550°/s, ±600°/s, ±900°/s, ±1400°/s, ±2600°/s and
±5500°/s; following types are under developing: ±5°/s, ±10°/s, ±20°/s, ±30°/s, ±40°/s, ±50°/s,
±60°/s and above ±5500°/s. Selectable range of linear acceleration is ±2g, ±10g or ±50g for X-axis and Y-axis, while for Z-axis: ±5g, ±50g or ±100g.
② Different measurement range of gyroscopes, resolutions are different. The details can be seen
on the test report of selected IMU.
③ For angular rate sensors, a bandwidth smaller than 500Hz is selectable for costumers. For
linear accelerometer, a bandwidth smaller than 5 KHz is selectable for X-axis and Y-axis; while for Z-axis, a bandwidth smaller than 12 KHz is selectable.
④ ω means angular rate; α means acceleration; X, Y , Z mean three axes of a coordinate system;
OUT means output; ST1 and ST2 means input port 1 & 2 respectively for self-test of angular rate sensors; ST means input port for self-test of accelerometer.
